Dear Believers, Friends & Fellow Students,
As-Salaam Alaikum!

This week we complete the section titled DOMESTIC LIFE OF MUHAMMAD. This section opened with these words: "The Domestic Life of Prophet Muhammad was a source of emotional conflict in the community of Believers as well as within his household.

There are principles inherent in the marriages of Prophet Muhammad that remain hidden to this day, covered by emotional reactions to his Domestic Life. The question must be answered, 'What did Allah (God) want us to learn?'"

This week we will explore this question as we continue to strive to rise above emotion into the Thinking of God.

Assignment:
Read & Discuss: Study Guide 18: Rising Above Emotion into the Thinking of God Section titled DOMESTIC LIFE OF MUHAMMAD

We will read from the paragraph that reads, "The giving of wives to Muhammad…" through the last paragraph in this section.

Discussion Questions (these are not official questions from the Study Guide):

1. What did Allah (God) want us to learn through the marriages presented in this section and has your answer changed over the last two weeks of study?
2. The study guide compares a mother's capacity to love each child, without loving the others less, to how Allah expands the heart of His Servant. Why must we, as individuals and as a community, continue to expand our own capacity to love?
3. There is a strong emphasis on marriage, women and motherhood in this section. In what way, if any, has this study affected your view of the woman, whether you are male or female?
4. Can we quickly restore the Black family unit? If so, how?
